Schedule

Key dates for the 2027 cohort, from applications through to close.

This is a working draft. Dates and times may shift, and anything marked to confirm is not final yet.

Applications and onboarding, 2026

  • Mentor applications: September 1 to September 30, 2026
  • Mentor vetting and acceptances: mentors are vetted and accepted by Friday, October 16, 2026.
  • Mentee applications: November 1 to November 30, 2026
  • Mentor orientation: Late November/Early December (Time to confirm.)

Getting paired and starting, January 2027

  • Match meetings: Early January 2027. Mentee candidates and mentors meet, each mentee with three or four possible matches, and share their notes with the match committee.
  • Matches finalized: Mid January 2027. The match committee makes the final determinations, accepts mentees, and sends out the matches.
  • Kickoff: Mid January 2027, the first all-program session.

Monthly program sessions

The whole program will meet monthly (shooting for 2nd Sundays, tbd.

Classes and Spotlights

Classes are facilitated sessions on specific practices, offered as a Major (the full program) or a Minor (a few sessions). One-time Spotlights round it out. The 2027 lineup and dates are still being planned. (Schedule to confirm.)

Cohort meetups

Optional gatherings where the cohort shows up together at community events.

  • 15 Association play party: an early-spring cohort excursion to a "Try Before You Buy" play party. (Date to confirm.)
  • Mr. SF Leather contest: a cohort meetup at the contest weekend. (Date to confirm.)
  • SF Pride: Sunday, June 27, 2027.
  • Up Your Alley (Dore): Sunday, July 25, 2027. The 15 Association runs play booths there.
  • Folsom Street Fair: Sunday, September 26, 2027. The 15 Association runs play booths there too.

LDG also runs its clothing-check fundraisers at Up Your Alley and Folsom. See Get Involved to lend a hand.

Closing

  • Closing meeting: Saturday, October 2, 2027. In person after Folsom, with a gathering at the Eagle. (Date to confirm.)
