SF Pride: Should Leather March? - A community discussion

  • Mr. S Leather Studio 385A 8th Street San Francisco, CA, 94103 United States (map)

Does the leather community benefit from marching in the parade? The leather contingent gets placed closer to the end of the parade year after year. Is SF Pride trying to hide us from view?

This program will focus on the audience and statements from the community. Several panelists will launch the discussion, then we will take comments and questions from the audience.

Jason Husted, organizer for the 2016 Leather Contingent will be with us, and put together a fact sheet (pdf) detailing contingent placement over the last 10 years, wheel monitor requirements, planning for 2016, and more. There is also a facebook group dedicated to the SF Leather Pride Contingent.

Come make your voice heard.

Please note, our previously scheduled program on Stomping has been postponed.  Details will be posted when available.
