ABOUT
LDG
Programs
...exchanging
knowledge,
exchanging
power...
LEATHERMEN´S
DISCUSSION GROUP is an independent community-based
not-for-profit organization that serves the educational
needs of men interested in BDSM, fetish, kink and
leathersex. Responding to their specific interests
and concerns, LDG programs cover the full range of
sexuality and community-related topics. Our events
foster information exchange among participants in
a safe and supportive environment.
LDG
regular programs take place on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays
of each month at: Blow
Buddies • Upstairs Community Room, 933 Harrison Street,
S.F. (between 5th and 6th Streets.)
Our regular programs start
at 7:30 pm and last approximately two hours in a relaxed
and friendly setting. Attendees are of varying cultures,
ages and levels of experience and novices are especially
welcomed. Leather attire or fetish wear is always encouraged.
Open to all adults. Admission is free. For more general
event info, please contact us.
Since
1996, LDG has produced nearly 250 BDSM community
education programs. Thanks to the generous support
and venue sponsorship of Blow Buddies and by the contributions
of other organizations, sponsors, and individuals,
a great majority of our events remain free of charge.
Donations of any amount are much appreciated as they
help defray the out-of-pocket expenses incurred in
the development and production of our events.
As
a 100% volunteer-run community
service organization, LDG also depends on the time,
talents, and efforts of its program presenters, event volunteers,
in-kind services staff, and hundreds of individuals who
attend our programs and events each year.
While LDG’s
Steering Committee meets regularly to handle business
matters, members of our Program Committee are always
working to bring you the most relevant and interesting
topics presented by a great variety of community experts.
The Leathermen's Discussion
Group thanks you for your continued support, attendance
and volunteer assistance. For more information on how
to become involved, please contact
us.

Wax Play with Iain
Hot Wax play can vary from a warm sensual scene, to a form of bondage, to pain, to theater, to terror. Wax can be delivered from a lit candle, or many ways from a melter. Each gives different sensations.
We discuss all techniques, and how to choose equipment and supplies. And we'll debunk some widespread misconceptions. You'll learn how to play with hot wax, how to keep it safe, and how to minimize the cleanup needed. Due to venue limitations, we'll demo only flame-free techniques. Expect a hot and messy evening.
Iain likes to play with hot things - wax, fire, electricity, and spice.
He's on the boards of Citadel, Dog N Pony, Edukink, Janus, LLC-12, and Primal. He teaches many places, including LLW, Samplers, and IASHS.
