TSA Friendly Toys: Tactile Play & Single Toweling

Our theme is devious toys you can have in your carry-on that won’t raise any eyebrows with TSA’s security check but they’ll raise a lot more than that at your destination.

We will have two presenters, the first will demonstrate and talk about tactile play.  Our second presenter will demonstrate a technique that acts like a single-tail yet uses a simple dish towel.

Tactile Play
You are bound, gagged, blindfolded, immobilized.
You are eager, excited, afraid, dripping.
Will it be scratchy, soft, prickly, penetrating, hot, rough? Yes!!!
And you will come. But not for a long, long time.
You are frustrated.
You want more.

Tactile play creates a heightened sense of anticipation and sensory pleasure using common household items. We’ll explore how to use our skin, our largest organ, as an extension of erotic expression. Bring your warped mind and come see for yourself what pleasures lie around your house, just collecting dust. You’ll never see your kitchen utility drawer the same way again.

Bio - Master Bill
BILL has been an active participant in the Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago BDSM communities for over ten years, regularly attending kink and play events globally. His passion for tactile play surfaced at the start of his BDSM journey and he has presented this workshop for various clubs nationally. Dungeon Masters often spend considerable time circling his scenes, eagerly watching and taking notes.

Single Toweling
Towel Dad creates all the effect of a single tail with a simple dish towel.  His take on the locker room towel flick is like nothing you’ve seen before.  A perfect alternative to the risk of bringing your single tail through airport security.  This is a demo not to be missed.

Bio – Towel Dad
Towel Dad (BILL B) has been a part of the SF kink scene for 30 years.  Like many others he was initially drawn by the look, feel and smell of leather.  In time, he became attracted to the activities associated with leather and kink.  His favorite toys are floggers needles and dishtowels(!).   He was one of the original LDG Steering Committee members and has served as Program Committee Chair.  He has demoed at several LDG Fetish Fairs.  His poly family includes a boy and a son (both of legal age) who will be participating in his demo.  A longtime Associate member of the 15 Association, he was also a member of Pegasus Motorcycle Owners Club.  He rides a Shadow Aero and hopes to be "the oldest mofo on two (motorized) wheels in SF".

Humiliation: Hot, Edgy and Sometimes Dangerous – with Richard Sprott

Humiliation scenes involve some intense psychological dynamics, and come in a variety of expressions.  On one hand, humiliation can mean "putting someone in their place" - protocols and actions that reinforce a submissive or beta position.  On the other hand, humiliation can mean playing with embarrassment and shame.  This presentation will discuss shame, disgust, and embarrassment - and why some are attracted to this kind of scene.  The presentation will also discuss the ways in which humiliation can reinforce a power exchange dynamic. We will also discuss emotional triggers, negotiating boundaries, and aftercare.  We will also demonstrate some of the dynamics and dissect a humiliation scene.

Puppy Play - with Brue

Puppy play has been one of the fastest growing fetishes in recent years.  Some see it as a gateway kink with its elements of dominance and submission, punishment and reward.  Pups shed their human persona and live in the moment as they take on their pup identity.  Pup Handlers establish dominance over their human pups.  Brue will share his experience in both pup and handler roles

The evening will include an interview, a demo and Q&A.  If you would like to try being a pup or handler for the first time, arrive early, a limited number of spaces will be available for demo participants from the audience.

50 YEARS A LEATHERMAN — Peter Fiske

Peter Fiske in Conversation with Erik Will, followed by a whipping demonstration

Please join us for a celebration of San Francisco's, California's, IML's and the USA's beloved "Leather Yoda" as he marks fifty years in leather and BDSM. We'll talk a walk down memory lane with Peter, view selections from his renowned whip collection, and see a demonstration of his legendary singletail skills.

There is only one Peter Fiske, folks. Like all great leathermen, he's an original, and unlike so many great names of the past, he's still with us and active as ever, living proof that sweetness and sadism need not be mutually exclusive. Don't miss this opportunity to get up close and personal with a bonafide icon who doesn't seem to know he is one.

PETER FISKE has beeen a leatherman since March 1964. He is a Stonewall veteran and continues to be an activist in the LGBT and leather communities, working tirelessly for inclusion and acceptance for all in BDSM and Leather. He served on the board of the S.F. AIDS Emergency Fund from 1997 to 2002, as President of AEF in 2000, and is a co-founder of the BCEF (Breast Cancer Emergency Fund). He served as well on the S.F. Pride board from 2002 to 2005 and as S.F. Leather Daddy XXI.

Daddy Peter has been a mentor and BDSM educator/player all his adult life, presenting hundreds of programs all over the country.  He is the senior member and Chairman Emeritus of the 15 Association and former Chairman and Co-Ordinator of Delta International. He is a two-time Pantheon of Leather awardee, for the Western region and for Lifetime Achievemen, and was also honored with the Hank Cook Service award by AEF and by S.F. Pride with the 2005 Heritage of Pride award for longtime service to the S.F. LGBT community.

"How did I get to be a village elder? I don't know, but I care about those coming into Leather now and about our future. I will continue to work (and play!) as long as I can to keep BDSM healthy, safe and fun, and to keep us free to be ourselves. My motto is Play Hard, Live Free, support the LA&M and always tip your bartenders generously."

ELECTRONIC STAPLING SENSATION PLAY — with Master Z

Master Z says that he saw this stapling scene done in a dungeon and knew that this had to become part of his repertoire.

Come see the fun you can have with an electric staple gun (yes, the Home Depot type), a little duct tape, and impact instruments, including fists.  Those who may be a little squeamish about blood play should be aware that they probably will see some.

MASTER Z OF TEXAS is a well-known Dominant, presenter and leader in the Leather and BDSm scene.  Selected International Master in 2004, he travels all over the United States and Canada making presentations on the Master/slave-Leather lifestyle and BDSm technique.  He has also served as a popular keynote speaker and emcee for a number of events.   He is the Owner of slave bill and slave kiki, and has slave tina, slave trudy and slave mark and Douglas, who is his first boy, in service.

Master Z is Chairman and President of Butchmanns, Inc., and currently is an Instructor for the Butchmanns Weekend Experience.  He is the Producer and HeadMaster for boys Training Camps and Co-Producer of Masters Retreat.

In 2010, Master Z was the recipient of the Leather SINS, Inc., President’s Award.  He was the recipient of the “Masters Heart Award” in 2006 and the “Leatherman’s Heart Award” in 2004.  He is one of the Heads of Household for the Texas Leather Tribe, a leather family he shares responsibility for with his wonderful leather brothers, Master Roy and Master Glen.

Master Z is eternally grateful to his mentors, the late Master Dean Walradt and the late boy Patrick Chees, who taught him much of the leather protocols and rituals that he cherishes today.  Master Z is certain that his leather journey, BDSm experiences, and a certain wonderful desert Master are directly related to his Spiritual Path.

BOOTBLACKING: A BACKSTAGE PASS — with Nick Elliott

Come and let NICK ELLIOTT, INTERNATIONAL MR BOOTBLACK 2012, show you the ancient mysteries of the bootblack, from the basics of how to care for your leather, to how to negotiate the bootblack chair — both as a client and a bootblack.

HURTS SO FINE: EROTIC ABRASION — David Stein

The skin is by far the largest organ in the human body, but most SM techniques evoke only a small fraction of its potential for painful pleasure. Even a thorough flogging stimulates the nerves in just a few square feet of flesh. Wake up as much of his skin as you want, and leave him crying, moaning, and begging for mercy — or for more! — with cheap, disposable abrasion gear, from sandpaper and emery boards to an endless variety of brushes. Abrasion can be exquisitely calibrated from sensuous to excruciating, and sometimes the effect is all out of proportion to its immediate cause. A long, patient brushing can leave your bottom's skin so sensitive that simply breathing on it will make him shriek! Most abrasion play is very low risk, but even in a heavy scene you can minimize the risk of transmitting blood-borne diseases by taking simple precautions.

DAVID STEIN knew he was twisted very early, before puberty, but he didn't get into the gay leather/SM scene until his late 20s, first in Pittsburgh and then, from 1977 on, in New York City. (See details here.) He's always been a big ol' bottom except for a period of about a year in the early 1980s when he explored the other side. Although he got laid a lot more, he enjoyed it much less, so he switched back for good, with one exception — demos of erotic abrasion.

He learned about abrasion in 1981 from the man who more or less invented it as an SM technique, Chuck Barrow, a full member of the Chicago Hellfire Club. It was Chuck, in fact, who showed David that he had a strong masochistic streak and wasn't only a bondage bottom and slave wannabe. Their SM sessions were both the heaviest David had ever had and also among the most satisfying. After Chuck died of AIDS a few years later, David sought to pass on his abrasion "gospel" in an essay, "Oh, the Pleasure of the Pain! An Ode to Abrasion." This was widely reprinted and came to the attention of an Australian leatherman, Bob Buckley (also now gone), who developed his own spin on abrasion and popularized it through his scenes at Inferno.

Meanwhile, over the years David gave programs and demos on abrasion both for his own group, New York's GMSMA (Gay Male SM Activists, which disbanded in 2009), and numerous others. In 1980, David had co-founded GMSMA — which became at one time the largest gay s/m organization in the world — and he helped lead it through 1991.  In 1983 he coined the phrase “safe, sane, and consensual s/m” for the group’s Statement of Purpose. (Go here for his essay about the origin, use, and misuse of the “SSC” slogan.)

In 1999 he co-founded the NYC gay chapter of MAsT (Masters And slaves Together), which he also led for a number of years. He's a widely published author on SM and M/s topics, and for six years he was the safety columnist for Bound&Gagged magazine. He has presented at numerous leather events, including the Leather Leadership Conference, the Master/slave Conference, South Plains Leatherfest, Southeast Leatherfest, and the Northwest Leather Celebration — where he'll be speaking this year about BDSM Ethics, just a few days before his LDG appearance. His M/s novel, Carried Away, was published in 2002 by Daedalus and is still available. In 2009 he published Ask the Man Who Owns Him, a nonfiction book based on interviews with gay Masters and slaves in long-term relationships, and Boots, Bondage, and Beatings, a collection of his shorter fiction, under his own  imprint, Perfectbound Press.  Since then he's published kinky gay story collections by Thom Magister and Christopher Pierce, and more titles are in the works.

Video streaming by Ustream
Update: David is kindly allowing us to post the handout he brought as an aid to his program. Its a short, excellent read. Please enjoy your erotic abrasion play :)

ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS: MAKING ELECTRO PLAY MATTER - Yossie Silverman

The more technical our play becomes, the more layers of gear or equipment between our own skin and the skin of our play partner, the more important are the strategies we use for achieving meaningful connection with each other.

Breath Play - Mark Frazier : SFLDG October discussion

Breath Play is obviously one of the most potentially dangerous SM activities, requiring responsibility, trust and scrupulous safety practices. Practitioners describe Breath Play as sensual, euphoric, and erotic.

Note that solo breath play can be fatal and intended "safeguards" often fail, find an experienced partner with whom to play and learn.

We will explore techniques, methods and safety, and will conclude with a question/answer session and hands-on play.

Mark Frazier is co-owner and executive producer of the International Leather Sir/boy and Community Bootblack contests. He currently owns the Dallas Eagle and is also an ER Nurse.

Mark has been involved in the Leather lifestyle for well over 20 years. He has had the privilege of holding leather titles ranging from state and regional to International, holding board positions on prominent local and national organizations, and receiving many awards and accolades.

His most current project is documenting the leather history of North Texas from the 1950s through current day. It is his hope to have the project completed by the summer of 2011.
