After a brief cameo appearance a few months ago, we are delighted to welcome back to LDG, LaGuan Kink-Lea the President of the ONYX Northwest, to tell us more about the past, present and future of ONYX in San Francisco. We'll also reflect on his challenges and successes so far leading a chapter of ONYX in a country that showed inspiring progress towards racial equality with its first Black president, but has since revealed enduring racial prejudice with disturbingly deep roots.

Since 1995, ONYX has been providing a welcome and support for Men Of Color who are interested in participating in the Leather lifestyle and community. We’ll talk about how the whole Leather community can support and celebrate the inclusion of Men Of Color, and we’ll consider the question, is it ok to fetishize race?
